Difficult year for apples

According to a recent US study, the three main regions for apple production in the world - China, EU and the USA - could respectively record a 10, 6 and 3% drop.
As for global production, it could drop by 5% to 57 million tons, that is to say the lowest tonnage recorded since 1998.
