The Puglia region is the first region for the production of organic grapes

First region in Italy and the first region in Europe for the production of biological table grapes.

According to data from the Regional Observatory of Biologic Agriculture (ORAB-Puglia) the region has 2,418 acres of grapes in organic farming (certified 1,315 hectares and 1,103 hectares in conversion).

Which positions the Puglia region (Apulia) at the head of Italian classification of organic table grapes producing areas and also in the first position at EU level.
