Wal-Mart's bid on Marks & Spencer

The US Wal-Mart, number one in distribution, has made a bid on the European stores Marks & Spencer. Already set up in Germany and England, the US group wants, above all, competing with the French dealer Carrefour. Other companies are interested including the Japanese, Uniqlo.
