Belgium
Thursday 30 November 2006
The technical committee of EurepGAP has finalized its revision of their current agricultural protocol for quality and good agricultural practice (GAP). The new protocol will be enforced in the first quarter of 2007.
It gives more importance to integrated pest management (IPM).
Also the structure of the regulations in the protocols changes to a new system of modules. The first one will contain general requirements applied to all companies. The second one will contain a section dedicated to agriculture.
EurepGAP revises its protocols every four years.
