Pears stocks run low in Poland

Based on the latest data provided by WAPA, pears stocks comprise approximately 4500 tons of fruits at the current moment. It stands to mention that this figure is 7 times lower comparing to the previous year numbers. In comparison last February stocks amounted to 28 000 tons of pears. This factor could be traced to the initial decision of polish pears producers not to put fruits to the warehouses during this season. Such kind of decisions is attributed to ban for European fruits exporting to domestic market of Russia.
