The 1st International Symposium dedicated to persimmons on FRUIT ATTRACTION

The next edition of FRUIT ATTRACTION ( 28-30 October ) will see the 1st International Symposium dedicated to persimmons.

The 1st International Symposium will be held in the framework of technical conferences , Wednesday, October 28. The program of debates : culture, marketing and future prospects of persimmons.

Many renowned professionals will intervene , especially those responsible for " Persimons Riberda del Xuquer " and Anecoop society.

Spanish exports persimmons until July 2015 reached 25,718 tonnes, 24 % more than the same period in 2014. The main destinations are Germany with 4,671 tons , Italy with 4,865 tons and France with 3885 tons.

In 2014 , Spanish exports totaled 156,252 tonnes worth 150 million euros.
