Analyzing the statistics for the past 15 days, Saudi Arabia's exports have increased sharply from 3 million to almost 13 million US dollars compared to the same period in 2016, the main exported fruit being tomatoes . Exports are expected to increase further with the arrival of the holiday concluding the month of fasting.

 

The increase in exports to Qatar goes back to a month and a half and also responds to an urgent need for this country for food, whose imports of fruit and vegetables show a growth of 724%, which is expected to continue in the coming weeks .

 

Syria also increased its imports to become the 8th largest importer of Turkish fruit and vegetables, with the purchase of tomatoes (+ 4431%) and potatoes (+ 1466).
