VGT, the specialist hub of organic products

VENICE GREEN TERMINAL , the terminal of the city of Venice since it opened to agricultural products has become the specialist hub of organic products.

With a specific organization, the codification of procedures and dedicated areas , biologics management can be guaranteed completely separate from other products. The aim of the VGT is to meet growing demand from global markets where the share of organic products increases.

VGT opened new routes , including with South America (Argentina, Colombia) for shipments by containers of citrus , pineapple and bananas.

After its portfolio of services (import, export , distribution) expanded ( accelerated customs clearance , delivery to customers ) , VGT plans by early 2016 new services : re-labeling , palletizing and processing of incoming and outgoing products.
