The country arranges reserves of garlic
FJ
To ensure a steady supply and stable prices, Indonesia arranges "buffer" stocks.
A corporation of the state RNI (Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia) will allocate $ 179.9 million to create "buffer" stocks of garlic, designed to ensure continuous supply and prices unchanged.
These "security" stocks will be used in case of shortage of supply and risk of price inflation. RNI will purchase products directly from farmers thus breaking the monopoly of the major players in the field. Currently, the country is suffering from shortage of supply and the price of garlic is very high.
