Direct from Hong Kong : In Hong Kong to find new opportunities !

 

Eric Vallet has been working with Chinese suppliers in the last 6 years. He was first the import manager of AZ France, then he has established its own company : Caposud in 2007.

 

During his visit to fructidor.com booth in Asia fruit logistica today in Hong Kong, Vallet explained : « I have used my expertise to serve other French customers. From China, I import now 1,000 pallets of Pomelos by year. The French market as a whole represents 4,000 pallets/year of Chinese pomelos »

 

Apart from Chinese sourcing, Caposud , established in Paris – Rungis is specialised in conter-season products from Chile and South Africa. After just 1 year of existence, the company operates with 6 persons.

 

Concerning the fist feed-back on Asia fruit logistica, Vallet stated :

« It’s my first time to Asia fruit logistica, I came to find new ideas, new opportunities. I am already working with Chinease suppliers, there may be other opportunities in Asian countries as Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc…  What I like is the possibility to meet also Chilian and South African professionnals who join the show ».
