Melinda distributes the funds collected to the victims of L'Aquila

Melinda Consortium began a fundraiser last September for victims of the earthquake of L'Aquila.

 
The earthquake of April 6th 2009 had destroyed the local market for fruit and vegetables from the Piazza Duomo in L'Aquila.

 
Melinda Consortium, represented by a few producers from the name of their 5000 colleagues donated money collected of € 100,000 in total.

 
This donation, for the 11 retailers of fruit and vegetables affected, will be used for purchase of 6 vehicles, tents, and accessories for the resumption of commercial activities.

 
The official presentation of this fundraising was made at L 'Aquila in Piazza Duomo.
