"Naranja de Valencia" a new brand launched by Spanish IGP Citricos Valencianos

In order to get more distinctive produce and to boost its sales, the Spanish professional association IGP Cítricos Valencianos has introduced a new brand: "Naranja de Valencia" during Fruit Attraction.
"Naranja de Valencia" wants to promote oranges and mandarines grown and packed in the region of Valencia. The new brand will be sale by 3 companies : Agrios Selectos S.L., Germans Fuster S.L., Tresfrut S.L.
These companies have a long experience in citrus sales and a total packing capacity of 50.000 tons of fruit/year.
According to FEPEX sources, the 2015-2016 campaign reached a total of 4,096,272 tonnes exported to EU. Germany bought 1,042,042 tons.
