Metro Group will streamline its procurement processes by bringing together its logistics operations under a single structure.
The Metro Group will streamline its processes and reorganise its logistics under one umbrella, with only two units: Metro Logistics Germany et Metro Logistics International. This new organisation will be operational from July 1st 2012
and will optimise the supply chain.
This reorganisation should facilitate and increase sales, especially e-commerce, which depends heavily on supply chain optimisation.
