According to the Ministry of Agriculture and the Sicilian Parliament, European organic production aid funds supported 6,972 funding applications in Sicily.

Italian organic food stores registered sustained demand realizing a turnover estimated at € 3.1 billion, an increase of +8.8% compared to 2013.
