UNICO's conference during Macfrut show

Last May 11th, U.N.I.C.O, the new Italian organisation for fruit and vegetables, held a conference on : "What future for small European banana importers ?", during the Macfrut show, Cesena, Italy. Around 60 to 70 persons attended the meeting and discussed about the sector's problems and means of defence with, among the participants : M. Christian Metadier (Canavese) and Mrs Piera Clerico (Unico). Soli Ruggero, Unico's president, aims at increasing the value of the channel and campaigns on the wholesale markets 'privatisation.
