70% of biodynamic products are exported

EBDA ( Egyptian Biodynamic Association) said that 70% of biodynamic products are exported products from Egypt . Europe , the United States and Japan are the main customers.

The total space of land cultivated according to biodynamic methods covering 7000 feddans ( 7266 acres ) and allows exports to total EGP 200 million each year.

In compliance with the standards established by the International Demeter Association , which lists 80 certified operators and 400 farmers producting  cotton , vegetables, fruits , honey, herbs.
