Spanish fresh produce exports increase in 2003

Spanish fruit and vegetable exports increased in 2003 both in terms of volumes and value.
According to the statistics, total produce exports were 6.3 million tonnes for a value of 5.975 billion Euros.
Vegetable exports increased by 7 percent in volume and by 4 percent in value, while fruit exports remained stable in volume and increased by 6 percent in value.
