Partnership between Unica Group (E) and Zon (NL)

One of the meetings to finalize the agreement of the 2 groups which will propose an available wider offer all year long (photo ideal.es)

Unica Group (Spain) and Zon Coöperatie (Netherlands) will co-operate together.

Zon said the companies were looking at boosting the economic stability of both businesses and improving their service to growers and customers.

Products offers will be wider, stationery will be assured all year long by the simple change between Spain and the Netherlands in spring and in autumn.

Unica CEO Enrique de los Rios said: "By working together we can help our customers become more competitive and we can increase value to our growers."

Both companies market products including peppers, cucumbers, watermelon, lettuces, asparagus, melons, strawberries.

Unicas has 900 members and 400 for Zon.
