Italian citrus fruits from the next season will enter the Chinese market.
This is an important milestone for Italian citrus fruit which will be able to enter the Chinese market with high potential in the next marketing season.
The Italian Ministry of Agriculture announced that it had concluded negotiations on the opening of the Chinese market to Italian citrus fruit. The first deliveries will be launched in the next marketing campaign. The prototocle signed with the Chinese authorities also intends to strengthen cooperation (science, technology, economy, trade) in the agricultural sector and rural development.
In the first two months of 2017, agri-food exports to China have already increased by 12% compared to the same period last year.
