A 6% drop in vegetables production

The Polish production of open field vegetables dropped by 6% in 2001 compared to the year before whereas the production under glass recorded a 3% increase in growing areas. Open field vegetables are mainly cabbages, carrots and onions ; the ones under glass are tomatoes and cucumbers.
