Turkish half-season citrus on the market

Lemons of Lamas variety as well as Washington Navel and Thomson Navel oranges will be harvested from November 8 for the export of November 12,  a few days earlier than last season.

Selon les statistiques de l’Union des Exportateurs Méditerranéens,  le citron est le premier produit frais exporté au mois d’octobre avec une augmentation de 28 pour cent par rapport à octobre 2012. L’orange est au 7^ème rang des fruits et légumes les plus exportés, et passe d’environ 5200 tonnes à 14.200 tonnes par rapport à la saison dernière.

According to statistics from the Mediterranean Exporters Union, the lemon is the first fresh produce exported in October with an increase of 28 percent compared to October 2012. Orange is on the 7th rank among the most exported fruits and vegetables, and passes from approximately 5200 tons to 14,200 tons compared to the last season.
