Fresh Connection expands its cold store capacity
Specialist in the transport, storage and distribution of perishable goods, Fresh Connection has expanded its cold storage capacity with opening the second cold storage.
Fresh Connection has opened a second refrigerated warehouse near an existing cold store in the Transportzone Meer. With this new refrigerated warehouse, Fresh Connection has now 11 docks, 6 750 square meters of floor space which boosts their capacity up to 5 000 pallets. The pallets can be divided into six different temperature zones from 0° to 14°C.
The first cold storage still in use and adding the second cold storage makes it easier for the company to handle larger volumes.
In 2021, the company also has changed its name to “Fresh Connection” and in future “Fresh Warehousing” will be used only in paperwork.
Since 2005, Fresh Connection is a specialist in the transport, storage and distribution of perishable goods and reefer cargo from the ports of Antwerp, Rotterdam and Vlissingen to the cold stores in Meer or to the final destination of clients in Europe. All fruits and vegetables are transported according to quality regulations. Fresh Connection gives assistance in phytosanitary check and veterinary control to save the time and money for their customers.
