Drought gets worse in the State of California.
Now 80% of the territory is classified in the highest category according to the National Weather Service and the most recent map of the drought, U.S. Drought Monitor.
According to experts, this situation will continue, temperatures will be above normal for July and August. Rainfall may occur but will be insufficient and it must be waited untill fall (October) to hope for substantial rain.
The effects of drought on California agriculture threaten to raise the prices of 6 to 10%.
