Increasing fresh fruit consumption in the UK

Over the last few years, we can note an increasing and diversified consumption of fresh fruit in the United Kingdom, amplified by governmental programs. Wholesale markets represent 35 to 40% of the UK's fruit market. As for organic fruit and vegetables, they stand for 50% of the organic market, which is mainly imported.
