Market for onions in Russia stabilized

Market for onions was stabilized. A few Dutch ones were available on 0,645 US$/kg level. Most of the offers were for the onions from Egypt which went up to 0,69 US$/kg with the good demand. Potato went up as well to 0,83 US$/kg as no local ones left in regions of Russia. Dutch cabbage unexpectedly has got a record price in Saint-Petersburg - 1,075 US$/kg whereas in Moscow it was 1,00 US$/kg for the stuff brought by trucks. In the meantime new crop cabbage went down to 0,575 US$/kg. Carrots had a good market. Israeli stuff was sold from the south of the country till Moscow on about 0,90 US$/kg level, in Saint-Petersburg the Dutch one was mostly available - 0,65 US$/kg.
Tomatoes went another time down - 1,04 US$/kg in Moscow, 1,35 US$/kg in Saint-Petersburg. Cucumbers could be bought even on 0,385 US$/kg in Saint-Petersburg.
