Huelva reduces the areas of raspberries and strawberries

Due to bad results during the last campaign, the plantations of raspberries will be decreased from 20 to 25%.

 

 

The sector is hoping that this declining trend in planting areas with strawberries and raspberries will have positive influence on the level of prices.

 

 

Producers of strawberries think that in course of time when the situation of economy will be better, greater areas with strawberries will be planted.

 

 

As Freshuelva informed the areas of strawberries were reduced to 1.500 hectares.
