Giumarra partners with Agricom to provide avocados year round

The Giumarra Cos. and Agricom have announced a joint partnership in the global marketing of avocados called Giumarra Agricom Global LLC. The Giumarra Cos. is a leading international network of fresh produce growers, distributors and marketers, and Agricom is one of the larger and more respected Chilean fresh food exporters and one of the world's larger avocado exporters. The alliance offers customers access to a consistent, 12-month supply of avocados from California, Mexico and South America.
In announcing the partnership, Don Corsaro, president of the Giumarra Cos., noted that the Giumarra Cos. and Agricom are two families each with more than five generations of experience in growing and marketing fresh fruits and vegetables for the global market. "We both have considerable experience in growing and marketing fresh avocados," Mr. Corsaro said in a release. "And together we believe we will be able to offer the North American market superior-quality product and customer service."
With operations centered to the north, south and west of Santiago, Chile, Agricom is known for modernized agricultural practices and innovative post- harvest technologies. The firm offers conventional, organic and NutriClean- certified produce.
Avocados grown and shipped by Giumarra Agricom Global LLC will be available on both the East Coast and West Coast and will be packaged under the "Nature's Partner" brand. At the core of the "Nature's Partner" brand stands a three-way partnership with customers, growers and the land.
