Objectives of exports are already accomplished to 80% while there is still nearly two months of production.
In recent weeks, Chilean exports of blueberries rose to reach the 80% previously forecast.
Exports in February reached 4.120 metric tons (MT) the first week and the second 3.461 MT. Production is expected to decline gradually and ends in April.
Rains are expected but should not disrupt production. Temperatures should reach 36 degrees in certain areas this week that may damage the fruit after harvest.
