Rising trend, observed at the beginning of the year, continues for Spanish exports of fruits and vegetables.
Increase in value and volume for Spanish exports of fruit and vegetables.
During the first half of 2013, Spanish exports increased by 13% in value compared to 2012, reaching a total of € 5,965,000. In terms of volume, an increase of 6% up to 6.2 million tonnes of exported fruits and vegetables.
The European Union is still the main destination, with 92% of total exports. In terms of sales volumes, Germany is at the top (+16%), followed by France (+6%), the UK (+10%) and the Netherlands (+13%).
