A new label for local products in restaurants

A new brand "Des produits d'ici ici cuisines" - "Products from here cooked here" - to acknowledge the restaurateurs that cook fresh produce from the Ile-de-France region.
CERVIA (Regional centre for agricultural and food development & innovation ) points out that this initiative promotes in this way the chefs who use fresh local produce.
The initiative has just been launched, and restaurants displaying the label are currently less than a dozen. But the label that promotes the use of fresh local produce could spread rapidly, driven by the consumers' demand.
