PGI certification for Mediterranean lemons

Spanish producers are enthusiastic about PGI certification for Mediterranean lemons. This quality label would non only concern the Spanish production, but also the Italian and Greek ones. It would allow them to differentiate and protect themselves from non European competition. PGI should be implemented in 2004. Source : agridesk
