New version of BRC's food standard

The British Retail Consortium will shortly publish a new version of its food standard which is set to come into force on 1st June 2005. Changes to the standard reflect changes in legislation including traceability, product segregation and the process by which product integrity is maintained through the supply chain. The standard can be ordered online and will be available for download in German, Swedish, Spanish, French, Norwegian and Dutch from February 2005.
