CASI shows very good results in 2010

The Cooperativa Agrícola San Isidro (CASI) announced its results for 2010 showing a substantial profit.

The CASI cooperative, with 1,400 members is the largest actor in tomato industry in the region of Almeria. While the year 2009 showed a deficit, accounts for the year 2010 reflected a growth.

During the General Assembly and the approval of accounts, CASI submitted a 2010 sales of more than 193 million Euros, an increase of 10.38% and a profit of 1.6 million Euros.

 It was agreed, during the meeting, to enhance target marketing and develop a more active search for new markets.
