China's foreign trade slows down

In September exports fell by 1.1 % at 1300 billion yuan and imports by 17.7% at 924 billion yuan , said the General Administration of Customs.
In the first three quarters , foreign trade fell by 7.9 % to 17,870 billion yuan (yoy ), with exports down by 1.8 % to 10,240 billion yuan and imports down by 15.1 % to 7630 billion yuan. The trade surplus rose to 2610 billion yuan.
Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China rose by 7.1 % in September , reaching 59.5 billion yuan ( 9.56 billion US dollars) , said the Ministry of Commerce .
