The North of Queensland is waiting impatiently for the rain.
The region that produces fruits and vegetables in abundance, started to suffer from drought. Pineapple production could be threatened in the area of Mackay .
After 2010 and 2011, very wet years, which were not necessarily favorable, the region began to recongnise the inverse problem. Drought could be fatal to pineapple plantations.
