CROPMAX: new amino acids biostimulant to promote the natural growing processes
With the launch of CROPMAX, Holland Farming was one of the first companies to introduce amino acids as biostimulant in professional agriculture. It was not an easy task to get farmers to use it. Timing of spraying application is essential, so a lot of teaching was necessary to allow farmers to reach good results.
Notable was the fact, that at the beginning of the 21st century the most openminded markets were those, where technology was slightly behind. Where the average harvest of (soft) wheat in France was 7.7 tons/ha and in Holland even 8.8 tons/ha, the harvest in Poland was 4.5 tons/ha and Romania had an average of 3.5 tons/ha. It is easy to explain, that the impact of anything beneficial is bigger, where conditions are poor. But CROPMAX at first had a more than substantial impact, with harvest increases upto 30%.
Nowadays, CROPMAX is competing with other amino acid based biostimulants, few of which are of the same vegetal and therefor organic origin (certified). And still CROPMAX is a number one brand in Eastern Europe and on the Balkans, such as Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Macedonia. In the meantime, many Western European farmers are using CROPMAX on fruits and vegetables from as north as Sauvo in Finland, through Yarvenkïla Oy to Kiwi’s in Italy’s Spreafico in Latina.
The combination of amino acids, polisacharides, trace elements and enzymes promote the natural growing processes in plantfysiology (rootsetting, vegetative growth and generative growth). This in turn has its impact on increased resistance to stress, better absorption of available nutrients, as well as on quantity and quality of harvest (brix, gluten, shelflife, asf)
