Billa plans to open 48 new stores

Already present in the countries of Eastern Europe, the Billa supermarket chain, owned by the German group Rewe plans to expand its network in Ukraine.
Since the first supermarket opened in Kiev in February 2000, the retail chain Billa has 20 stores in 13 cities of Ukraine. The chain wants to open 48 new stores before the end of 2015.
Billa should have 26 stores by the end of 2011, 32 in 2012, 42 in 2013, 54 in 2014 and 68 in 2015. The stores will be of different sizes, 400m2 to 2000 m2.
For this expansion, Ukraine should provide additional logistical facilities to better serve this network.
