Decline in Moroccan exports

Since the beginning of the Moroccan food exports are down (vegetables, strawberries, raspberries and citrus).
There has been a sluggish start to the year for Moroccan exports with figures released by the Moroccan Foreign Exchange Office suggesting a slowdown in foreign trade. Food exports are down (-7%), mainly due to underperform exports
of vegetables, strawberries, raspberries and citrus.
Total exports rose 5% over the first four months of 2012 thanks to the mining sector, energy sector and shipments of finished products.
