The November mission will connect US suppliers with buyers in Vietnam and Cambodia, with fresh fruit among the categories highlighted for growth.
US food and agricultural companies can apply to join a trade mission to Ho Chi Minh City from 9 to 12 November 2026, according to the US Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service. Applications close on 27 July.
The programme will connect US suppliers with potential buyers from Vietnam and Cambodia through business meetings, market briefings, networking events and site visits. The mission is open to exporters seeking new commercial opportunities in the region.
USDA identified fresh fruit as one of the product categories with growth potential in Vietnam. Other areas include dairy, poultry, animal feed, seafood, ethanol, cotton and forestry products.
Vietnam was the seventh-largest market for US agricultural exports in 2025, with purchases valued at USD 5.6 billion. The United States was also the country’s second-largest supplier of agricultural goods. Rising incomes and continued expansion in food processing, retail and hospitality are expected to create further opportunities for imported products.
