Asaja Murcia (professional agricultural organization) announced that dessert grapes harvest will be late.
The harvest will have 20 days of delay because of the weather conditions which affected the region of Murcia these last months.
“But figures of forecasts in terms of quality and production are very promising”, said Alphonse Caravaca, General Secretary of the organization.
New techniques of biological wrestling were implemented and work very well, what is going to contribute to the environmental protection in the sector. Production should turn around 100.000 tons.
