Blueberries costs plunge in Ukraine

Based on the recent information, blueberries costs raise trend has gone south this week in Ukraine. According to the latest data, price plunge for blueberries has comprised approximately 10-15%. Costs drop could be traced to demand decrease from exporters’ part, against local supply growing every day. At the current moment, blueberries prices fluctuate at approximately 5,2 – 6,1 USDkg. In accordance with the local specialists, blueberries costs skidding down could be attributed to prices drop for this kind of fruits in Russia, which is considered to be the top exporting market for Ukrainian blueberries. It stands to mention that current prices for blueberries are 38% lower comparing to the previous year figures within domestic market of Ukraine.
