Production of oranges in Costa Rica for the 2005/2006 season is expected to increase by around 20 percent compares to last year.
The 2005/2006 crop increase is due to better weather conditions in one of the main growing areas.
Costa Rica exports the majority of the oranges it produces as orange juice concentrate, with the main markets being The Bahamas, The USA and The Netherlands.
