Export of melons will begin with 40 days late

Since planting, heavy rains delayed the season and the first exports will begin with 40 days late.
The export season will start with a delay of 40 days because of rain that delayed the season.
The first shipments to the international market are scheduled for December 1st.
The destinations for these first shipments are the United States, Spain, Italy, France, Belgium and England.
The planted area for the 2010-2011 season is 6,000 hectares. Production and exports should be similar to last season.
