ILIP launched a new line of TS trays, made ??of recycled plastic for packaging delicate products.
This is the year for berries for ILIP, a division of ILPA srl and leading European companiy in the production of thermoformed plastic packaging for fruits and vegetables.
After the custom fabrication of trays for Sant'Orsola Cooperativa, Italian leader in the sector berries, ILIP launched its TS r-PET (RPET), a new range that includes four shapes
for different depths from 125g to 1000g of products.
This new range addresses the needs of delicate items and the openings at the base and corners provide excellent ventilation, even if the packages are stacked. The internal ridges have been reduced to avoid damaging the product and mechanical strength is higher.
These trays are more environmentally friendly with at least 80% recycled PET and the energy required for their manufacture is significantly lower.
