Moldova strengthens presence on Russian fruit market

According to the latest data, Russia has decided to decrease volumes of apples imported from other countries during  current season. Despite the above mentioned policy from Russian side, Moldova has managed to increase export of apples to domestic fruit market of Russia. Official figures prove that Russia has purchased 36 000 tons of apples from Moldova, this number is 14% higher comparing to the last year volumes. To be brief, Moldova has supplied Russian fruit market with 115 000 tons of apples during June-November period. As a result, Moldova come in at second place after Poland.
