This week, Panama celebrated a major breakthrough with the start of exports of Valencia oranges and Persian lemons to Martinique and Guadeloupe in the West Indies.
The success is attributed to a Panamanian company that has met the demanding quality standards of the West Indian market.
Supported by the Plant Health and Agribusiness Directorate of the Ministry of Agricultural Development (Mida), the shipment of eight weekly containers of these fruits has been organized.
