Interfresh Eurasia made a bold move to Izmir this year

Interfresh Eurasia, one of the most important fruit and vegetable trade shows in Turkey and worldwide, has relocated to Izmir this year.
The event took place on September 26-28. The new venue, Fuar Izmir, featured a larger hall compared to the previous location in Antalya. Delegations of buyers from 55 countries, along with representatives from over 30 retail chains across Europe, attended the trade show, which showcased Turkish agricultural products in various forms, including fresh, dried, frozen, and canned goods.
Hayrettin Uçak, President of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters' Association, expressed that Interfresh Eurasia has successfully achieved what is often difficult — growing into an international event in the fresh fruit and vegetable industry by consistently increasing the number of exhibitors and visitors each year.
"This year, we are proud to have brought the only fair of our industry in the country to our beautiful Izmir. It is a pleasure to host this wonderful exhibition. Today, Turkey is a key player in the agricultural sector, with 60 million tonnes of fruit and vegetable production, along with food products processed in modern facilities. Izmir stands at the heart of this hub, excelling in both fresh produce and processed goods," Uçak remarked.
