By supporting this global movement, we can create a lasting impact on our food systems and the well-being of communities everywhere” declared WUWM chairman Stéphane Layani.
Support of the 5ADAY associations and the wholesale markets around the globe
In partnership with its esteemed WUWM members like the wholesale market Lo Vallador market in Chile, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the Alliance for a 5-a-Day for Better Health (AIAM5) this initiative will focus on: raising awareness about the vital health benefits of fruits and vegetables; promoting daily consumption for improved nutrition worldwide; supporting sustainable agricultural practices to protect our planet; fighting food waste and loss throughout the supply chain. This initiative is a powerful step towards enhancing global food security, improving public health, and advancing sustainable agriculture.
