Ahmed Shaheen: "We work very hard to reach the highest levels of quality that the customer dreams of. We maintain constant communication with our customers during all working hours, ensuring coordination and attention to all the customer’s instructions. This gives our clients a sense of psychological comfort in dealing with us."
Fructidor: Which are your primary export markets, and how have these markets evolved in recent years?
Ahmed Shaheen: "Our export markets include the European Union, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Arab countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman. These markets have developed significantly in recent years, gaining confidence in the quality of Egyptian products and showing increased interest in them."
Fructidor: What measures do you take to meet the high expectations of quality and freshness in international markets?
Ahmed Shaheen: "We take several measures to meet international quality requirements. These include planting modern varieties of seedlings that yield higher quality than older varieties, using the best fertilizers, and conducting thorough pesticide analyses to ensure only those suitable for the target markets are used. Additionally, we review the product multiple times before packaging and exporting, and we obtain international quality certificates to guarantee our compliance with global standards.”
Fructidor: Sustainability is a major concern in agriculture today. How is your company addressing environmental impact within its operations?
Ahmed Shaheen: "We address environmental impact by employing modern scientific methods in agriculture and seeking advice from experts."
Fructidor: How do you see the role of sustainability evolving within the Egyptian produce sector?
Ahmed Shaheen: "Sustainability in the Egyptian production sector requires more effort to keep pace with foreign markets. Challenges like environmental and climate changes are significant, but Egypt has a great role to play and is capable of overcoming these challenges."

Ahmed Shaheen: "Yes, I recently traveled to several European countries to explore modern technologies, such as sorting and packaging machines. These technologies play a major role in improving quality by reducing human errors. We have incorporated them into our packaging stations, significantly raising our quality standards."
Fructidor: How do you stay updated on technological advancements in agriculture to remain competitive?
Ahmed Shaheen: "I stay updated by traveling to competing countries, observing their quality standards and challenges, and learning how they overcome these obstacles. I then apply these learnings to the Egyptian agricultural sector to continuously advance its quality."
Fructidor: What challenges do you face in logistics, especially during the strawberry season?
Ahmed Shaheen: "We face logistical challenges like high shipping costs and disruptions in navigation due to wars and conflicts. However, we cooperate with safe and reliable navigation companies to avoid expensive partnerships and ensure smooth operations."
Fructidor: Do you foresee any shifts in consumer demand for specific fruits or vegetables, and how are you preparing for these changes?
Ahmed Shaheen: "There has been an increasing global demand for Egyptian fruits and vegetables, especially strawberries, due to their unbeatable quality. We are preparing by expanding the cultivation of these crops to meet the growing demand from all over the world."
